Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Eva and Alessandra that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library.
There were many books I picked up, and which I quickly set down on the shelves again. The reading this week is a little slow, especially since Guns, Germs and Steel is taking me a while to get through.
So this week's library loot contains:
1 DVD (Seven Brides For Seven Brothers)
1 cookbook (Baking: From My Home To Yours by Dorie Greenspan)
2 books (Memories of My Melancholy Whores by Gabriel Garcia Marquez; The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro)
Happy reading!

I've been wanting to read Guns, Germs, and Steel but haven't picked it up yet. It intimidates me a bit :) I will read it eventually though and hope to hear that you enjoy it.
Ishiguro and Marquez are two of my favourite authors! :)
"The Remains of the Day" is a lovely book - I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Samantha - It's been going well so far, although it's a bit dry here and there!
Eva and fleurfisher - Oh I do love Marquez as well, but I have yet to really explore Ishiguro's work. So I look forward to reading more from him.
